The shipping weight for an 8'-0" bench assembly, with hardware, is ~285 lbs.
Our Big League Bench has been designed and manufactured at 8'-0" long bench sections, that when modularly added in tandem, will provide the very best 16 ft, 24 ft, 32 ft, or 40 ft. long baseball dugout bench. The lightweight, structural aluminum framing has been manufactured, such that the bench can be anchored onto a flat horizontal concrete pad, attached to a vertical masonry block dugout wall, or an unattached stand-alone bench. It is designed to be modularly versatile to customer preference. At Big League Benches, we're excited about changing the industry...by providing The Best Seat in the Ballpark for our customers!
The Big League Bench is constructed with T6061-T6 Aluminum and Recycled Polymer Fiberboard.
Our Big League Bench welded frame has a lifetime guarantee on welds regarding structural integrity and the aluminum material. Stainless steel hardware protects the bench against corrosion, as well as provides strength and durability. The polymer fiberboard will have a limited warranty due to the possibility of any misuse of the product once installed and potential misuse at installation.
6061 is a precipitation-hardened aluminum alloy, containing magnesium and silicon as its major alloying elements. Originally called "Alloy 61S", it was developed in 1935. It has good mechanical properties, exhibits good weldability, and is very commonly extruded (second in popularity only to 6063). It is one of the most common alloys of aluminum for general-purpose use.
It is commonly available in pre-tempered grades such as 6061-O (annealed), tempered grades such as 6061-T6 (solutionized and artificially aged) and 6061-T651 (solutionized, stress-relieved stretched and artificially aged).
High-density polyethylene (HDPE) or polyethylene high-density (PEHD) is a thermoplastic polymer produced from the monomer ethylene. It is sometimes called "alkathene" or "polythene" when used for pipes. With a high strength-to-density ratio, HDPE is used in the production of plastic bottles, corrosion-resistant piping, geomembranes and plastic lumber. HDPE is commonly recycled, and has the number "2" as its resin identification code.
HDPE is known for its large strength-to-density ratio. The density of HDPE can range from 930 to 970 kg/m3. HDPE has little branching, giving it stronger intermolecular forces and tensile strength than LDPE.

We excel in Project Management and here to assist!
Our standard bench utilizes redwood color deck boards,
assembled with unfinished aluminum welded framing and stainless steel fastening hardware.
As an additional offering, Big League Benches can provide aluminum framing powder coated to many select colors provided on the Pantone and RAL color pallets.
Several of our customers requested their dugout benches match school colors to complete the special look and feel of the athletic facility and educational institution. Contact us...Big League Benches can do it!
Big League Benches offers plastic lumber in twelve vibrant colors. The color of our products is consistent throughout the material—which means that the color on the inside is the same as the surface color. This reduces the aesthetic impact of any scratching or vandalism that may occur. Additionally, our color additives contain an ultra-violet protection package, which minimizes fading in our product. This UV-protection ensures that any fading will not be noticeable.
All of our plastic lumber is made from 50% recycled content with minerals added for increased strength, durability and decreased expansion and contraction.
